Once upon a time, in a land of flickering screens and boundless dreams, there lived a three-year-old girl named Rasheeda. Enthralled by the magic of Saturday morning cartoons, she set out on a journey to craft stories that would captivate audiences across the globe. Today, Rasheeda Winfield’s career is a dazzling tapestry of imagination, strategy and technological savvy, blending the artistry of storytelling with the precision of data and project management.
Hailed by EBONY.com as "Black, Fresh and Twenty-Something," this self-proclaimed "left-brained creative" has honed her craft across an impressive array of roles: executive producer, casting director, educator and project manager, and actor. Her expertise isn't limited to storytelling. With a portfolio that includes award-winning productions for NBCUniversal, internet marketing for Mercedes-Benz & Maybach USA, to talent scouting and casting for OWN, Rasheeda's impact across the creative industries is undeniable. A recent highlight includes her work as an Executive Producer for the feature-length documentary, "Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom" which garnered the 2023 Wilbur Award.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of New York, Rasheeda honed her creative spirit and communication prowess at Fordham University, where she earned a Master of Arts in Public Communication. Her undergraduate years saw her delve deep into the worlds of visual expression and media studies, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Communications and Media Studies and Visual Arts, specializing in Graphic Design. ​

Proficient in web development and design, she has collaborated with clients ranging innovative start-ups to prestigious institutions like Fordham Law School. Whether she's analyzing audience insights or collaborating with cross-functional teams, her unique ability to bridge artistry with meticulous planning and execution, is what sets her apart and has been instrumental to her success. ​

Beyond her creative prowess, Rasheeda is a dedicated advocate for the entertainment industry. Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom is a documentary directed by Ya’Ke Smith that invites viewers into the story of Juneteenth – the holiday recognizing the end of legalized slavery in Texas – through the eyes of a Black man learning about the holiday from the direct descendants of those liberated. The story serves as a parable that offers hope, and the insight that faith can be the greatest weapon against injustice.

Steve Harvey hosted a two-hour premiere special of "Showtime at the Apollo" on FOX. In this Virtual Reality (VR) 360 degree video, you'll see that nearly a half a million people turned to FOX's Facebook page to gain backstage access with Steve Harvey right before the show! I produced this video with the amazing Jupiter Return who provided the super cool 360 degree camera. Click on the video to the right and use your mouse to look up, down, and all around the Apollo's iconic theater and stage. And yes, you'll even see me on stage if you drag your mouse to the left at the beginning of the video.
