Television & Digital
Rasheeda Winfield is the consummate multi-hyphenate, navigating the spheres of news, entertainment and technology with grit and curiosity. Once featured as Ebony Magazine’s “Black, Fresh and Twenty-Something,” she has produced and developed content for major broadcast, cable and digital streaming networks and has collaborated with celebrities, thought leaders, and influencers across the creative industries.
As a seasoned storyteller with creative instincts and technical know-how, she specializes in news and unscripted programming. She's worked on a variety of short and long-form productions from conception to completion as a producer and casting director for networks including NBCUniversal, OWN, Fox and A&E to name a few. She started her broadcast career as a News Reporter and Producer for WFUV Radio 90.7FM. The lights, camera, action of TV beckoned her and she landed a coveted role in the competitive NBC Page Program, eventually working her way to the newsroom of award-winning newsmagazine, Dateline NBC and later the Meredith Vieira Show. With a keen eye for spotting talent, she’s managed the entire casting pipeline, from outreach strategy, writing talent one-sheets to managing talent cutdowns. If problem prevention and quick no-drama solutions were an Olympic sport, she’d give Michael Phelps a run for his money! Her greatest superpower is nurturing rising stars and advocating for the personal development and welfare of all talent, in front of and behind the camera.
Born and raised in New York, Rasheeda holds a Master of Arts in Public Communication and a Bachelors of Arts in Communication/Media Studies and Visual Arts (double major) from Fordham University. She also serves on the Advisory Board for Punchline Agency, a speaking and literary agency. When she's not busy exploring the Metaverse or investing in the next generation of industry leaders, you can find her watching the latest superhero movie or nurturing her budding culinary ambitions.

Showtime at the Apollo with Steve Harvey
Video Format: Virtual Reality / 360 degree video
Social Media Platform: Facebook
Steve Harvey hosted a two-hour premiere special of "Showtime at the Apollo" on FOX. In this Virtual Reality (VR) 360 degree video, you'll see that nearly a half a million people turned to FOX's Facebook page to gain backstage access with Steve Harvey right before the show! I produced this video content with the amazing Jupiter Return who provided the super cool 360 degree camera. Steve is just as funny and inspirational in person as he appears on TV. Click on the video and use your mouse to look up, down, and all around the Apollo's iconic theater and stage. And yes, you'll even see me on stage if you drag your mouse to the left at the beginning of the video. 😃

My Kid Would Never Do That
A hidden camera series that aired in the spring of 2012 on Dateline NBC. It won a 2013 Gracie Award for Outstanding Series. We designed carefully thought-out scenarios that showcased how teens and pre-teens would react when faced with a challenging situation. What would they do when approached by a friendly stranger offering them ice cream? If they witnessed someone being bullied, would the step up? Would they get into a car with driver who appeared inebriated? Our cameras were there to find out.
I was involved in every phase of production – from concept to the final aired product including booking "real people," managing auditions and casting actors, day-of-shoot logistics and release forms, to tape management and managing edits.
The series won a Gracie award for best "Outstanding Series" in 2013.
(Episodes: Stranger Safety 4/15/12; Driving Under the Influence 4/22/12; Cheating 4/29/12; Discriminate 5/6/12)
