About

Welcome, fellow digital wanderer, to my very own corner of the internet – a place I lovingly refer to as my stream of consciousness, with a generous dash of homage to the good ol' days of blogging, before everyone started yelling into the social media void. Seriously, remember when people actually read more than 280 characters at a time? This blog is my defiant little stand against the fleeting, the frantic, and the utterly insincere. It's my space to ramble, reflect, and generally make sense (or glorious nonsense) of the world. Think of it as my pursuit of truth and giggles!

My journey into the delightful chaos of storytelling began, as all epic tales do, at the tender age of three. There I was, a tiny human utterly enthralled by Saturday morning cartoons, clearly absorbing all the crucial life lessons from talking animals and superhero capes. Who knew that early indoctrination would lead to a career that masterfully blends the art of spinning a yarn with the precision of, well, spreadsheets and deadlines? They call me a "left-brained creative" – which, let's be honest, just means I can brainstorm wild ideas and then actually organize them into a project plan. That's a superpower if you ask me.

Over the years, I've had the distinct pleasure of wearing more hats than Steve Harvey at a beach: executive producer, casting director (yes, I've stared into the souls of many aspiring actors), educator, project manager, and even an actual actor (briefly, before realizing I prefer being behind the scenes, where the snacks are better). My resume reads like a fever dream of diverse experiences, from winning awards for NBCUniversal to making sure fancy cars (Mercedes-Benz & Maybach USA, no less) looked good on the internet. Oh, and I helped find talent for OWN, because apparently, even Oprah needs a little help sometimes. Most recently, I executive produced "Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom," a documentary that snagged a 2023 Wilbur Award. I'm pretty sure that means I'm officially allowed to have a slightly bigger ego now.
But wait, there's more! Beyond the glamorous world of "lights, camera, action," I also dabble in the dark arts of data-driven strategies and technology. I can build a website (or at least make it look pretty), and I've collaborated with everyone from plucky start-ups to the hallowed halls of Fordham Law School. My secret sauce? I can bridge the gap between creative genius and practical execution. Basically, I speak fluent both "artistic muse" and "project timeline."
When I'm not busy plotting world domination (or just my next big project), you can usually find me attempting to master the culinary arts (results vary) or, more reliably, cradling a warm matcha green tea latte (and yes, it must have coconut milk; don't even try to offer me anything else). I also moonlight as an educator, trying to instill wisdom (and a healthy dose of cynicism) into the next generation of entertainment industry hopefuls.
So, this blog? It's where all my various brain functions converge into one slightly unhinged, yet hopefully entertaining, digital experience. We'll dive into everything from pop culture that makes me question humanity, to musings on faith (because, well, life's a trip), and all the glorious, bizarre bits in between. If you're looking for polished, sterile content, you're in the wrong place. If you're ready for observations on life's absurdities, a few (okay, many) giggles, and perhaps some questionable opinions, then welcome home. Don't mind the virtual dust bunnies; they're part of the charm.

That dream eventually became a reality.

What happens when you've reached the mountaintop? And when you get to the peak, it's not what you thought it would be? I've been reflecting a lot about what it means to have new dreams and new goals as an adult. This is my space
